Overcoming Fish Spa ! Feb 2010

QianHu Fish spa is definitely a must try lazy activity if you want some good laughs and clean legs. I know its prob no new stuffs for most of us as we should have all seen the advertising done by Chen Kang's Fish Spa, but its just different when you experience it on your own.
It started off with me dipping my legs in and out of the water every few seconds as it can turn rather itchy especially when they start swarming eagerly to your newly submerged feet and sucking non-stop. The sensation of being sucked by mouths of different sizes is one that cannot be enjoyed thoroughly unless you get pass the stage of acknowleging the fact that your legs are meant to be violated and to keep your money paid worth. Another trick that works for first-timers like me is to avoid staring at them when they're working. So yeah, i still do recommend QianHu Fish spa as a good activity to do on lazy Sunday afternoons.

Mode of transport recommended: Car :P
Alternative: Free Shutter Bus from Choa Chu Kang Interchange

We are the world _ Michael Jackson & friends

One of my MJ fav..
the world doesnt wait for anyone, its so easy to get stuck in the past, but how long can we live to use time this way?
For our life span is never in our control. Last night, my aunt's good friend died in her sleep at the age of 40+.
There wasnt any indication of abnormity or illness. She simply went away quietly. Are we ready yet to meet our heavenly father?

Tchaikovsky symphony no. 6

This is just one part of Tchaikovsky's final symphony,
Pathétique Adagio-Allegro non troppo which was supposed to run up to a full 17.36min, a better display would be from Chicago Symphony Orchestra - Sir Georg Solti.
Its filled with dramatic expression of pursuit, darkness and death in one moment and passionate heartwarming sensation the next.
Simply Overwhelming.

To add on, this piece actually contains Tchaikovsky's relation to homosexuality.
I wonder what story he has to say to make such a strong piece..

rachmaninov _ piano concerto 2

Piano Concerto !! Which pianist wouldnt want to play in a Piano concerto, tell me?!
I doubt i would ever play like Weissenberg, look at that execution..
Another version would be one adapted from Nodame Cantabile.. ^*^, no orchestra but a duet is as exciting isnt it. The melody was brought out by the piano instead though i think strings did a better job at that.(oh ya..actually i dun think she's the person playing this piece..well i'm not really sure though ^^ but listen to the music..i wanna play that too~.. )
